Neil Pittam Neil Pittam (BSc (hons), CMarSci, MIMarEST) has joined SeaRoc from his position at The Crown Estate where as the Marine Data Manager he was lead and primary developer contact for Round 3 offshore wind data and information. Neil has over 15 years marine project experience and is an accomplished project manager committed to offshore renewable development. Earlier in his career he worked as a hydrographic surveyor (with Fugro b.v.) and progressed in to data management, general marine science, oceanographic measurement and renewable projects (with ABP Marine Environmental Research, ABPmer). He then worked for PMSS as a Development Consultant. A Chartered Marine Scientist and Honorary Secretary of the Southern Branch of The Hydrographic Society UK, his new position will provide survey, data and project management expertise to several projects. He will also contribute to SeaRoc’s business strategy and the development of products such as SeaPlanner and innovative marine data acquisition systems. Alan Pickering Alan joins the Engineering team as Senior Consultant after many years contracting in the in the Oil and Gas, Petrochem, Process and Mechanical industries as well as Building & Civils. His wide ranging experience includes time spent as a Offshore Client Rep on the Robin Rigg Wind Farm installation (covering foundations, cabling and WTG installation), Offshore structural and piping surveys for various operators and Xmas Tree/Flowline surveys and installation. He has experience of conceptual Platform Design for the Baird, Babbage and Breagh fields amongst others and preparation of Piping and Valve Specifications, Work Packs and Technical Specifications. His design experience covers a wide spectrum from Subsea Templates and large diameter High Pressure Drilling Risers through to High Speed X-ray Inspection equipment. Kevin Parsons Kevin joins the QHSE team as Senior Consultant, he is a NEBOSH diploma qualified Health and Safety professional with extensive experience of managing marine related civil engineering projects worldwide. He is a versatile Construction and Marine Health and Safety professional with an excellent record of achievement in the implementation of operational health and safety standards.Kevin is experience in planning, allocating and evaluating work carried out by individuals and teams, receiving and organising information for action in the multi-disciplinary environment of Civil Engineering Marine Construction & Commercial Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Responsibilities have included the project management, risk assessment, planning and management of safe system or work for operations worldwide.
